As the weather warms, the Freeport Gem transforms into a floating classroom for schools throughout Long Island. Our end-of-school biology fishing trips are a fantastic way for students to learn about marine ecosystems in a fun and interactive setting. Experienced crew members can guide students on catching fish (catch and release, of course!), while educators can utilize the opportunity to teach about local marine life and conservation efforts. Private parking for school buses and camp buses makes it easy to get everyone aboard, and with space for up to 100 students, we can accommodate groups of all sizes. The Freeport Gem is also the only charter offering free parking for 140 cars or 20 full-size buses, making transportation a breeze.
